A solitary tree in a grassy field at a park.
An abandoned building on Zion Cemetery.
Taken near Frisco, TX.
A cold, foggy, windless sunrise produces stark contrast and glass-like water. Taken on Black Creek in the LBJ Grasslands near Decatur, TX.
Taken somewhere between I-35 and 75N along the Texas / Oklahoma border. I honestly can’t remember exactly where. I’m standing on Texas soil, though, and I believe that’s Oklahoma visible in the distance.
A seldom used fire road in Marshall Creek, TX. Remnants of the old Hwy 377.
Erica stands near an abandoned water tower in Celina, TX as the sun sets behind her.

It’s getting colder and colder each night this time of year. With no daylight hours available to me on weekdays, and the outside air being too cold to stand in without a jacket, gloves, a hat, and a bright red nose, I may have to confine myself to indoors and studio work on weekdays until the weather warms up.
This photograph in particular had me standing for 8 seconds trying my best not to convulse as the cold air ate through my skin. A jacket would have been nice.
