I tried to photograph the sunrise last Sunday morning. Thanks to the rain, there was no real sunrise to speak of. Not all was lost though. I got this image and I got to spend some quality time with my new mistress and use her to take this image.
That's right, after 4 years with my D70, I've upgraded to the D300. So far, it's quite nice.
I'm not a subscriber to the thought process that I have to have the biggest and best equipment the moment it is available. In fact, I think that outstanding photographs can be made with even the most basic equipment. This is the reason I've had my D70 for so long. I'd probably still have my D100 if it hadn't been stolen forcing me to buy the D70 in the first place. But… it was just time.
It was a lot more expensive than I'd thought though. So, in support of this site and its continued operation, please consider puchasing a print. If there's an image of mine that you'd like that you don't see there. Let me know and I'll get it put up.
Thank You!
